一、mistake的用法

1. 表现“毛病”，通常为可数名词；表现犯毛病，通常用动词 make；另外注意与介词常用搭配。如：

You made a mistake about the time. 你弄错了时光。

She made a mistake over the bill. 她把账算错了。

二、mistaken的用法

1. 表现某人的误解、误会或弄错等，通常用作表语。如：

It appears to me that you are all mistaken. 我看你们都错了。

表现“在……方面弄错”，其后通常接介词about。如：

He is mistaken about her. 他误解她了。

He may have been mistaken about what he saw. 他可能看错了。

有时后接in doing sth，表现“毛病地……”。如：

You are mistaken in thinking that they will help you. 你要是以为他们会赞助你，那你就错了。

要增强语气，除可用very, very much, quite, seriously等润饰外，还可用sadly润饰。如：

If you think I’m going to help, you’re sadly mistaken. 如果你以为我会帮忙，那你就完整错了。

2. 表现毛病的行动、想法或犯毛病的人等，多用作定语。如：

That’s a mistaken idea. 那是个毛病的想法。
