for是什么意思(in, for, during的差别何在?)

during与for

during既可以指事件所产生的全部时光段,也可以指全部时光段中的一段时光或一个时光点,而for指的是全部时光段;

during后接的是时光名词,而for后接的多是时光长度的量词;

during与in

during在指“在全部…期间,在某个时光段的某个时光点”的含义时,通常来说in可以调换during的,应用during更强调这个全部时光段;应用during也有事件产生的时光不准确的意味;

during与while

During her stay in Paris, Sarah bought …

While she stayed in Paris, Sarah bought…或

While (her) staying in Paris, Sarah bought…

during表现产生的时光,for则答复how long的问题:

I stayed in London for a week. 不作I stayed in London during a week.

“When did he get those scars?”

“During the last war.”

“How long did you stay in Mexico City?”

“For about three months.”

Call me sometime during the vacation.

I was only out of the room for a few minutes.

during office hours/the day/last week/that year/the 80s

for two hours/a week/many years/a long period

While I was at home, I met a nice boy (不用During I was…, 但可以说During my time at home,…)

I did the dishes while you were asleep(不用during you were asleep).
