什么是商务英语（商务英语介绍）

剑桥商务英语测验（BEC）大纲中有这样一段描写：Business English is for business people who need to, or will soon need to, use English in their work. It may also be used by adult students who will be entering the world of business at the end of their course of studies.（商务英语是从事或将要从事商务运动的人所应用的语言；也是行将毕业、即将进入商界的大学生们将要应用的语言。）商务英语（Business English）就其语言实质而言，是在商务范畴内经常应用的反应这一范畴专业运动的英语词汇、句型、文体等的有机总和，是专门针对商务和商务运动的专业英语。

从整体上来说，商务英语不仅包含英语语音、语法、词汇、语篇和跨文化知识等通用英语（English for General Purpose, EGP）所包括的基本知识，还包含与商务有关的国际服务贸易、国际技巧贸易、国际投资融资、国际合作等商务知识，是一种专门用处英语（English百思特网 for Special Purpose, ESP）。具体来说， 这些商务运动涉及技巧引进、国际旅游、海外投资、对外贸易、招商引资、涉外承包与合同、国际金融、涉外保险等。商务英语源于普通英语，具有普通英语的语言学特点，但又是商务知识和英语的综合，因而又具有奇特性。
